Eight people are facing multiple drug charges after a federal Grand Jury handed down a drug trafficking indictment on July 21, 2021, Acting United States Attorney Randolph J. Bernard announced. The eight Jefferson County residents are facing charges involving a drug trafficking conspiracy to distribute cocaine base and cocaine hydrochloride in Jefferson County and elsewhere from July 2018 to June 2021.
