PHILADELPHIA – A central objective of managing a military supply chain is meeting operational readiness goals for the minimum cost investment. Members of Naval Supply Systems Command, Weapon Systems Support’s (NAVSUP WSS) Operations Research Analysis Team are developing a multi-echelon Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) model to help guide critical supply decisions.
