BayPort Credit Union (“BayPort”), located in Newport News, has agreed to pay nearly $110,000 to settle allegations that it violated the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) by charging excessive interest on servicemembers’ loans and other credit products and repossessing servicemembers’ vehicles without court orders.
