FBI New Haven and Partners Announce Anti-Asian Hate Crime PSA

FBI New Haven organized and created a joint public service announcement (PSA) between FBI, chief state’s attorney, U.S. attorney, Connecticut State Police, Connecticut attorney general, and world-renowned forensic expert Dr. Henry Lee.

The public service announcement, filmed by the Connecticut State Police, is aimed at building trust between Asian communities and law enforcement. The message was spoken in English, Mandarin, and Philippine languages by each of the highly respected officials of Connecticut’s various Asian populations. Attorney General William Tong delivered the unified message in English and Mandarin. FBI Supervisory Special Agent Sean Yan delivered the message in Cambodian, and Philippine American Connecticut State Trooper Luke LaRue spoke in English. Dr. Henry Lee spoke in Mandarin and English.
