TULSA, Okla. – A Tulsa man pleaded guilty to two counts of child neglect in Indian Country after he left his two children unsupervised for more than four hours, at which time the children gained access to his parked vehicle and died due to extreme heat exposure, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.

On July 12, 2021, Los Angeles County, California natives, Dane Roseman, 38, and Ivan Acevedo, 44, pled guilty to participating in a massive investment fraud scheme, in which more than 7,000 victims suffered financial losses, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371. Co-defendant Robert Shapiro, the former owner, president, and CEO of Woodbridge Group of Companies LLC (“Woodbridge”) was previously sentenced to the maximum sentence of 25 years in prison for his leadership role in the fraud scheme and his separate income tax fraud.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – U.S. District Court Judge Pedro A. Delgado Hernández sentenced Luis Enrique Valentín-Ramírez to 27 years in prison for a carjacking murder committed on September 13, 2019, announced W. Stephen Muldrow, United States Attorney for the District of Puerto Rico.

Ocala, Florida – Acting United States Attorney Karin Hoppmann announces the unsealing of an indictment charging Devonne L. Walker (35, Lady Lake, FL), Tymane D. Hamilton (29, Phoenix, AZ), and Kanisha D. Savage (28, Phoenix, AZ) with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. If convicted, each faces a maximum penalty of life in federal prison.

The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) and Marine Corps Exchange (MCX) have been supporting the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) over the years by selling $5 benefit tickets to NEX and MCX customers. NEX totals for the spring 2021 campaign totaled $292,320 while MCX customers donated $187,120.
