Fleet Ocean Tugs T-ATS

The Navajo-class T-ATS, Towing and Salvage ships are in procurement to replace the Powhatan Class T-ATF Fleet Tugs and Safeguard class T-ARS Rescue and Salvage vessels. The projected delivery is in FY 2021, with two more delivering in FY 2022 and one per year through FY2025.

Fleet Replenishment Oilers T-AO

Fifteen fleet replenishment oilers are operated by Military Sealift Command (MSC) and provide underway replenishment of fuel to U.S. Navy ships at sea and jet fuel for aircraft assigned to aircraft carriers. Three of the newest MSC underway replenishment oilers have double hulls.

Expeditionary Sea Base (ESB)

The Expeditionary Sea Base (ESB) ship class is highly flexible that may be used across a broad range of military operations supporting multiple operational phases, similar to the Expeditionary Transfer Dock (ESD) class. Acting as a mobile sea base, they are part of the critical access infrastructure that supports the deployment of forces and supplies to provide prepositioned equipment and sustainment with flexible distribution.
