The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and Castle Rock Police Department seek the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals suspected of robbing the Bank of America located at 1351 New Beale Street, Castle Rock, Colorado, at approximately 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021.

Suspect #1 is described as a Caucasian female, who is approximately 30 to 40 years of age. She was wearing a white baseball cap, a pink gaiter as a mask, prescription glasses, a neon green sweater, black leggings with neon green stripes, and carrying a black purse.

Suspect #2 is described as a Caucasian male. He was wearing a white baseball cap, sunglasses with orange reflective lenses, a black face covering, a yellow short-sleeved t-shirt over a long-sleeved black shirt, an orange construction vest, tan or brown khaki-style pants, and dark-colored shoes.

Bank robbery is punishable up to a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime. The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and Englewood Police Department seek the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals suspected of robbing the FirstBank located at 8600 East Arapahoe Road, Englewood, Colorado, at approximately 1:16 p.m. this afternoon, February 25, 2021.

Suspect #1 is described as a dark-skinned male in his late 30s to early 40s, approximately 5’9” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt, black hooded Ecko Unlimited zip-up vest, black pants, a blue and gray stars & stripes beanie hat, a gray gaiter, and glasses.

Suspect #2 is described as a Caucasian female in her late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5’5” tall with a medium build. She was wearing a pink shirt, a long dark puffy jacket, blue jeans, tall brown boots, a black floppy hat, and a rainbow tie-dye bandana as a face covering.

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force Needs the Public’s Help Identifying and Locating Bank Robbers

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and multiple Denver metro area law enforcement agencies need the public’s help identifying and locating individuals involved in several bank robberies over the past two days.

Following is a list of the bank robbery details:

  • Thursday, February 11, 2021
  • First Bank
  • 2740 South Colorado Boulevard
  • Denver, Colorado
  • Robbed at approximately 4:29 p.m.
  • Two suspects presented a note, threatened harm, and fled on foot.

Suspect #1 is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic male, approximately 6’0” tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, an orange and silver construction vest, black hat, and dark neck gaiter.

Suspect #2 is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9” tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black patterned button-up shirt, dark pants, black gloves, black hat, black neck gaiter, and a silver chain and pendant.

  • One suspect fled in a gray Acura sedan.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 5’5” to 5’9” tall with a stocky build. He is estimated to be in his mid-30s, with long, dark brown hair, and dark eyes. The suspect was wearing a purple button-down shirt, dark gray jacket, dark gray pants, black neck gaiter, and a black beanie hat.

  • Robbed at 10:23 a.m.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 5’7” to 5’9” tall with a thin build. He is described as being in his 20s to 30s, with a thin face. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark gray jacket, black dress shoes, a yellow and black plaid button-down shirt, a maroon knitted hat, a maroon neck gaiter, and maroon gloves.

  • Littleton, Colorado
  • Robbed at approximately 11:02 a.m.
  • The suspect presented a note, threatened harm, and fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a Caucasian male in his late 30s to late 40s, approximately 5’1” to 5’3” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue pants, a beige fedora hat, and a blue surgical face mask. He was carrying a black drawstring backpack. He is believed to be the same suspect who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 7375 West 52nd Avenue, Arvada on February 2, 2021.

Man Charged with Six Bank Robberies Throughout Arizona

PHOENIX, AZ—On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, the Phoenix Police Department with assistance from the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Jeffrey Patterson, 45, without incident following a bank robbery at Chase Bank, 17140 North Cave Creek Road in Phoenix. Patterson faces charges in connection with six bank robberies throughout Arizona, including:

  • February 4, 2021, Wells Fargo Bank, 15760 North Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, Scottsdale, Arizona
  • February 10, 2021, Chase Bank, 13602 North 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona
  • February 16, 2021, Chase Bank, 4714 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona
  • February 18, 2021, Wells Fargo Bank, 1004 West Chandler Boulevard, Chandler, Arizona
  • February 19, 2021, National Bank of Arizona, 5360 North La Cholla Boulevard, Tucson, Arizona
  • March 2, 2021, Chase Bank, 17140 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona

In each instance, Patterson would enter a bank, contact an open teller, demand money, and flee on foot.

No one was physically injured during the bank robberies.

The FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force would like to thank the Phoenix Police Department for their outstanding work on this case, along with Scottsdale Police Department, Tempe Police Department, Chandler Police Department, Pima County Sheriff’s Department, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of Arizona.

Patterson has been charged in a criminal complaint, filed in federal court. A complaint is only an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. FBI Violent Crimes Task Force Seeks Public Assistance to Identify Piggy Bank Bandit

The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the Piggy Bank Bandit, who is suspected of robbing four banks since December 1, 2020. The most recent bank robbery occurred on Friday, February 26, 2021. The robberies took place in Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix, and Gilbert, Arizona.

The suspect was dubbed the Piggy Bank Bandit because he or she left with coin rolls from one of the robberies.

It is unknown if the subject is male or female. The subject appears to have a tattoo on the left side of their neck, as seen in the December 1 photo.

During each of the robberies, the unknown subject approached a teller and presented a demand note. No one was injured.
