MEDITERRANEAN SEA – Military Sealift Command Spearhead-class Expeditionary Fast Transport USNS Trenton (T-EPF 5) and Tunisian Navy Fast Patrol Boats Hamilcar (505) and Giscon (510), as well as Auxiliary Ships Zarzis (A710) and Taguermess, conducted joint maritime domain awareness operations to enhance maritime security and Tunisia’s ability to protect its maritime borders, June 28 – July 2, 2021.

AAR Corp., located in Wood Dale, Illinois, and its subsidiary, AAR Airlift Group Inc. (Airlift), located in Melbourne, Florida, have agreed to pay the United States $11,088,000 to resolve False Claims Act allegations in connection with aircraft maintenance services performed by Airlift on two U.S. Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) contracts.

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. – A team at FRCE is examining new possibilities for quickly and accurately detecting corrosion and preventing its spread. The F-35 Lightning II program at FRCE recently hosted a demonstration of a tool that can help identify corrosion through many aircraft coatings: the Grey Gecko Real-Time Inspection Tool, or GRIT system.
