The FBI, Torrance County Sheriff’s Department, and Moriarty Police Department are looking for a man who robbed a bank while wearing a Gucci face mask.

The robbery occurred at Wells Fargo, 901 U.S. Route 66, in Moriarty, at approximately 2:53 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-30’s, approximately 5’6′ to 5’9′ tall, and weighing about 165 pounds.

He wore a long-sleeve blue shirt with a red La Mesa RV logo on the front, a dark Gucci face mask with two red vertical stripes, a baseball cap with a rainbow design on the front, and dark green pants.

He had tattoos on his neck and right forearm.

The suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to a teller.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank.

A man wearing an NRA baseball cap and another who used a bandana with the jaws of a skull painted on it to cover his face robbed a northeast Albuquerque bank on Thursday afternoon, July 15, 2021.

The robbery occurred at BBVA Bank, 3500 Candelaria Road NE., at approximately 5 p.m.

Both suspects were described as Hispanic males in their late 20s to mid-30s, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall.

One suspect wore a dark cap with “NRA” on the front, a black scarf covering the lower half of his face, sunglasses, a light-blue long-sleeve shirt, a brown T-shirt, red gloves, blue jeans, and dark shoes.

The other suspect wore a dark denim jacket, sunglasses, a dark bandana with the jaws of a skull painted on it that covered the lower part of his face, dark gloves, blue jeans, and black shoes.

The suspects entered the bank and threatened to harm a teller unless the teller gave them money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspects, who left the bank.

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are investigating.

Investigating the violent assaults on law enforcement officers committed during the January 6 attack on the Capitol has been a priority for the FBI. With the assistance of hundreds of thousands of tips from the American people, the FBI has arrested more than 500 individuals who took part in the Capitol riots. Of those, more than 100 were arrested for assaulting law enforcement officers. However, some of the most violent offenders have yet to be identified, including the 11 individuals seen assaulting officers in the video footage we are releasing today.

“As we mark six months since the violence at our nation’s Capitol, we continue to encourage the public to send tips to the FBI. As we have seen with dozens of cases so far, the tips matter,” said Steven M. D’Antuono, assistant director in charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office. “Tipsters should rest assured that the FBI is working diligently behind the scenes to follow all investigative leads to verify tips from the public and bring these criminals to justice. To date, the FBI has arrested more than 500 individuals for criminal activity on January 6. The public has provided tremendous assistance to this investigation, and we are asking for additional help to identify other individuals for their role in the violence at the U.S. Capitol.”

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and the Broomfield Police Department need your help identifying an individual who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2 Garden Center in Broomfield, Colorado, at approximately 1:23 p.m. on Tuesday, July 06, 2021.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male who is over 6’0” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a plaid long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a dark face mask, beanie hat, and sunglasses.

Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the above description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.

Bank robbery is punishable up to a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime. The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.

The FBI Denver Field Office is pleased to announce we are offering Cybersecurity Teen Bootcamps (CSTB) on July 27, 2021, and August 10, 2021, both of which have space available and will be hosted at the FBI office in the Central Park area of Denver.

During each CSTB, attendees will hear presentations on cybersecurity/privacy and have hands-on training with a MacBook Pro, virtual Windows 10 PC, iPhone 11, and a Google Pixel phone. Each session runs for 5 hours, is limited to 10 students, and will be facilitated by FBI Denver Chief Security Officer Michael Mercer. CSO Mercer has over 13 years of experience in cybersecurity and privacy.
