ROTA, Spain – The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) returned to Rota, Spain, March 14 after completing its ninth Forward-Deployed Naval Forces Europe patrol in the U.S. Sixth Fleet area of operations. During the patrol, Porter completed operations in the Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea and Atlantic Ocean with several allies and partnered nations.
