The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) entered the Black Sea on a routine patrol, Jan. 28, while conducting multidomain operations with a U.S. Navy P-8A aircraft from Patrol Squadron VP-46 and NATO Air Command aircraft E-3A Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS).

When Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic (SURFLANT) approached the Industrial Support Department at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk about performing a pilot project adding a full Repair Parts Analysis Group (RAG) to integrated logistics overhaul (ILO) scheduled for USS Wasp (LHA 1), the response was an enthusiastic “yes.”

GULFPORT, Miss. — The beginning of the new year ushered in a continuation of training and service for military and civilian members working aboard Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC). The training included Navy Reserve security force members completing annual training (AT) requirements from Jan. 7-19.

The Navajo-class T-ATS, Towing and Salvage ships are in procurement to replace the Powhatan Class T-ATF Fleet Tugs and Safeguard class T-ARS Rescue and Salvage vessels. The projected delivery is in FY 2021, with two more delivering in FY 2022 and one per year through FY2025.
