PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii – Adm. Samuel J. Paparo assumed command of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, May 5. He relieved Adm. John C. Aquilino, who became the 26th commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command at Camp H.M. Smith in Halawa in a ceremony at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam’s Kilo Pier, April 30.
