Defense News in Brief: Second U.S. Destroyer Enters Black Sea, Operates Alongside NATO Air Command

The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) entered the Black Sea on a routine patrol, Jan. 28, while conducting multidomain operations with a U.S. Navy P-8A aircraft from Patrol Squadron VP-46 and NATO Air Command aircraft E-3A Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS).

Defense News in Brief: Navy Medical Personnel to Join in Texas COVID-19 Response

GULFPORT, Miss. — The beginning of the new year ushered in a continuation of training and service for military and civilian members working aboard Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC). The training included Navy Reserve security force members completing annual training (AT) requirements from Jan. 7-19.
