A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging Lloyd Linwood Comer, age 59, of Brandywine, Maryland, and Doreen Gilmore, age 54, of Brandywine, Maryland for the federal charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, the substantive charge of bank fraud, false statement in a passport application, and aggravated identity theft.

A former Insys Therapeutics sales representative, whose trial had commenced, pleaded guilty in the Southern District of Ohio to conspiracy to defraud the United States for her involvement in a scheme to pay kickbacks to a doctor to induce him to prescribe Subsys, a dangerous sublingual fentanyl spray.
