A citizen of the United Kingdom was arrested today in Estepona, Spain, by Spanish National Police pursuant to a U.S. request for his arrest on multiple charges in connection with the July 2020 hack of Twitter that resulted in the compromise of over 130 Twitter accounts, including those belonging to politicians, celebrities and companies.

Jacksonville, Florida – United States District Judge Marcia Morales Howard has sentenced Sanjay Lama (32, Jacksonville) to 10 years in federal prison for using the internet to attempt to entice a 12-year-old child to engage in sexual activity. Lama was also ordered to serve a 10-year term of supervised release and register as a sex offender. Lama was arrested on September 25, 2019, in Jacksonville and has been detained since that date. Lama is a citizen of Nepal who, at the time of this offense, was legally residing in Jacksonville and working as an information technology specialist for a local company.

FBI Media Alert: FBI Offers Reward in Albuquerque Attempted Carjacking Case

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual responsible for an attempted carjacking that occurred at an Albuquerque park.

On June 26, 2021, at approximately 9:00 p.m., two women approached their red 2016 Kia Forte at the Ventana Ranch Community Park in Albuquerque.

An unknown male suspect walked toward them, pointed a silver handgun, and demanded the car keys.

The women entered the car and locked the doors moments before the suspect tapped on the driver’s window with his weapon and tried to open the door.

As the car left the area, the suspect fired at least one round that impacted the rear driver’s side door.

The women were not injured.

The suspect wore a black-hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head, a gray face mask, gray pants, and gray and black Vans shoes.

The Albuquerque Police Department is assisting in the investigation.

A Mississippi pharmacist pleaded guilty today for his role in a multimillion-dollar scheme to defraud TRICARE and private insurance companies by paying kickbacks to distributors for the referral of medically unnecessary compounded prescription medications that were ultimately dispensed by his pharmacies. The conduct allegedly resulted in more than $180 million in fraudulent billings, including more than $50 million paid by federal healthcare programs.
